Threshing Show back in Aug

We went to this threshing show last year with Emily. It's a not a long ride and a fun destination with all there is to see there. There's a lot of history there to experience. Back in the day the merry go round was fun to ride on. Now a days I 'm sure they are dangerous and have been removed from most playgrounds. These kids were enjoying it.



My favorite part of the threshing show is the glass blowing. In 2009 we stopped in St Croix at a pottery studio and the owner told me he blew glass there every year. After waiting for a year I enjoyed watching the process. As long as we're around in Aug I'm sure we'll go again.



I'm sure the woman of the day were very glad for this invention. I'm just glad they've been improved them over the years.

Of course we had to take in the tractor pull. After watching for a bit we headed over to get some food. Luckily we chose the place that had a tent covering the seating area.

Just as we were sitting down to eat it was down pouring. Good timing!
